Sushi :(

You guys remember papa's birthday present Sushi from mum two years ago? It was the goldfishie I blogged about once. Or at least I think I did. Anyway he's been sick for a year now :(

He's so sick we had to move him from his home to the hospital of blue water :( See he's floating upside down.. To feed him mum and dad sit next to him and feed him fish pellets one by one directly to his mouth.

He has a few tumours or whatever it's called growing on his belly so he's forced to face downwards..

They wanted to end his pain so we googled 'the most humane way to put a fish down' and it said to put fishie in a plastic bag of water and put it in the freezer :( I thought gor gor was joking when he told me but apparently what happens is it gets cold and goes to sleep then dies so there's no suffering..

They didn't even give me warning that they were doing it today! I need to mentally prepare myself you know :(

On a less depressing note, I baked apple pies/strudles today! It's actually neither so I don't know what to call it :) Anyway mum refused to throw away the organic apples that nobody wanted to eat so she boiled the apples and bought puff pastry to bake them in! We made a batch of them last night without a recipe omgg we were just like dumping stuff in and going with it. Didn't turn out that bad, it was quite yummy and there was only one left by the time I woke up :D Mum said to make more to use up the rest of the boiled apples but she was busy today and asked me to do it instead.

First was to cut them up into quarters :D

And then fill them up with the apple thingy!

And then well I kinda forgot to take photos but it's just egg wash for golden brown colour and poked holes :)

And then into the oven for half an hour..

Lookie! There's only 5 left now -.- I ate none of it! I smelt it for like 2 hours and now it's gross to me. Haha check out the heart shaped one!
