the necklace..

For those of you who read my blog, obviously close enough to me otherwise you wouldn't even know about it in the first place, would know that I've worn my treble clef necklace for years..

But exactly 2 weeks ago I lost the pendant :( I was rushing around trying to get my photobook ready to hand it in and only at the end of the day while having dinner with the boys, I realized it was gone..

I couldn't be more upset! It's one of the things I've always had on myself, no matter where I was or what I was doing; sleeping, showering, going for a run, in class, out to dinner.. I always had it on :(

And because it's 3 minutes before the end of the 1st of December, exactly 2 years ago since I wore it for the first time, I'm going to remind myself how I got it. Calvin was at my place and he told me he bought me something, then he gave me this cute little purple box and told me to open it. Of course I was like 'wtf is it for??' and all he answered was ' uhmm, what date is it? Wait, okay happy 1st December!'. He made it up, of course, but I remembered. It was the first of the random gifts he's given me since then. 

I've worn it longer than I've worn anything, including the jade and treble clef bracelet. In fact, I've had it even before Calvin and I got together so naturally I was super attached to it :(

I wanted to post more of the older pictures back in 2008 and 2009 but even picasa has turned it's back on me and wouldn't let me upload anymore than this.

Anyway, I loved that necklace. I'll miss it, but life goes on. Oh, and happy 1st December, boyfriend :)
